Bob Burchill - '75 Cabin Fever_ canada

Bob Burchill씨는 캐나다에 Ontario, Dublin 에 위치한 조그만 공동체 Perth county에서 자라났다.  Perth county은 아일리쉬 이민자들의 집단으로 구성이 되어있는데, 아버지도  전통적인 country Fiddler 이셨다 . 때문에  Burchill씨는  음악적인 환경에서 자라나 어려서부터 기타와 하모니카를 피아노를 배우며 자라났다.
70년에 Burchill씨는, 캐나다 사이키 포크 그룹인 Perth country conspiracy에 가입을 하게된다. 이때부터 공식적인 음악활동을 시작하게 된는데, 이 앨범에서도  Perth county의 멤버인 Terry Jones이 참여를 하였다.

 이 앨범은 그룹의 인기가 주춤해지는 시기인 75년에 발매 된 솔로 데뷰작이다. 이후 Perth County Conspiracy이 해산을 한후에는 솔로 음반작업을 계속하였는데. 또한 다른 여러 아티스트에 음반에도 참여를 하면서, Ontario에 스튜디오를 만들어 기타와, 키보드, 피들을 가리키며 살았다고 한다.

 어떤곡도 뺄것이 없이 잘 만들어진 앨범은, Burchill씨의 기타와 만돌린 그리고 부드러운 목소리로 어코스틱한 향연이 앨범전체를 흐른다. 커버를 보면은 말들이 쟁기로 밭을 일구고 있는데, 온타리오에 있는 그의 고향인 Perth County의 모습이지 않을까 조심스럽게 추측을 해본다.
