John Villemonte - '79 This

빌몬트씨의 첫번째 앨범 people like you에 이어서 나온 두번째 앨범이다. 상큼하고 달콤한 존 빌몬트씨의 보이스와 함께 군더더기 없는 연주가 돋보이는데 모든것이 빌몬트 스스로 했다는것이 놀랍다.
바닷가에 성게를 잡고 있는 커버도 빌몬트씨가 직접 찍은거라고 하는데 ..음악적인 감각뿐이 아니라 미적감각도 풍부한 자인것 같다

저 커버를 보고 사람들은 성게가 독이있는데 그것을 잡고 있으면 다치지 않느냐고 묻는다고 한다.
그런데 빌몬트씨는 단지 우연히 해변에서 조그만 성게를 보고 그것을 찍을 결심을 한것 뿐이라고...
무엇을 하던지. 그 일이 사람에게 스트레스를 주면 그것은 어떻게든 표현이 되어져 나온다고 한다.
그래서 무엇보다 중요한것은 그것을 즐기는것.
이라고 빌몬트씨가 충고를 한다. 아침부터..ㅋ
